RAIN LOCATION: PEABODY HEIGHTS BREWERY (401 E 30TH STREET)

Children and families will find a schedule of free activities at the 2023 Waverly Book Festival on Sunday, April 30th, from 11 AM to 3 PM.   Relocated to the Peabody Heights Brewery (401 E 30th Street), the program will feature special guests from the Baltimore Improv Group leading games and improv exercises, self-published author appearances, read-aloud presentations, hands-on art activities, and more.

Guest Authors include:

  • Kim C. Lee has written three books and co-authored a fourth. In early 2023, she released The Night Owl Goes to Space as a follow-up to her debut story, The Night Owl.

  • Stephen McGill, II is an author and owner of M Power Publishing, LLC, and founder of DOPE Dad 101.  He has authored two books The Electrifying Adventures of Mr. Powers, Volume 1 and 2.

  • Kelsea Johnson is the founder and owner of Stirred Stories, an independent publishing company that’s diversifying the media landscape by authentically elevating marginalized voices, and helping to create a society in which all communities are reflected in mainstream narratives.
